Progress!
Progress, things are certainly progressing. Our givealittle page is progressing well, thank you everyone. We are well into to $3000’s now. That is amazing for a little over a week, with no fundraisers underway yet so thank you everyone.
Today I spoke with Erin from the Wairarapa Midweek who is kindly putting together a story on our journey which will surely help to progress things along, certainly can’t hurt, I will make sure to keep you all advised on when it will be out, and try to post a digital copy on here.
We have heard from AirNZ and unfortunately, due to the sheer number of requests they get from groups and organisations they are unable to assist with flights for individual causes, never mind. It was worth a shot. Not their fault and I understand their dilemma.
The big boost for today has been that I was lucky enough to get a phone call from Masterton Pak N Save today who are very kindly going to run a ‘add $1 to your bill’ type promotion at the checkout in store. That is our first big win for fundraisers and we really appreciate it. So any of you reading, it would be great to support Masterton Pak N Save by doing your shopping there if you don’t currently!
Tomorrow I have a meeting at the Tui Brewery, so watch this space for more info on what might be happening with that..
It is awesome to be seeing things happen, hopefully things will all come together soon and we’ll be heading for our goal!
